We still have our six Communion Stewards, as well as Madge Childs who looks after the linen for us so beautifully. "Do This In Remembrance of Me," states our Communion Table - a little thought, 'Member' is a word made from the letters of 'Remembrance'. 75 Members attended our Covenant Service in January - a Service of Re-Dedication, a reminder of our promises.
Sue Gowling's Dedication Service finished with Communion. I felt very privileged to be part of it. The Service receiving new Members into our Church was another Service not to be missed. One lady commented after becoming a Member "Now I feel that I really belong".
Stewards standing with the little bags for your Communion Collection seems to be working well - all monies collected are sent to various charities.
