Malcolm Spencer
Local Preacher
"I was born near Warrington (Cheshire) in 1936. I have lived in Andover for the past 29 years, coming here immediately after marrying, to take up a post as Head of Humanities in a local school. On retiring from teaching some four years ago, I undertook the Faith and Worship course, becoming an accredited local preacher in 2002. I have been involved with the Methodist Church ever since I was born, and have at different times been a Junior Church teacher, Youth Club leader, Church Steward, Circuit Steward and Magazine Editor.
