| | Kitty Hay Local Preacher
"I was born in Andover in 1932, joined the Methodist Church in 1948 and became a fully accredited local preacher in 1958. I lived away from Andover for a number of years, returning in 1972. My membership is now at Bridge Street.
I have a great concern for the needs of the elderly and am now responsible for a weekly service on Sunday afternoons on the St. John Unit (geriatric) at Andover War Memorial Hospital. I am secretary of the Andover Pensioners' Fellowship (inter-denominational) and see this as a great outreach opportunity. We meet twice a month and seek to cater for the needs of older people - socially, emotionally and spiritually."
