Rosemary Hall
Local Preacher

"Bournemouth was my home until I left school and worked as a cartographer with Ordnance Survey in Southampton. A few years later I was back home and commuting to Lyndhurst to work for the Forestry Commission. During this time, there was a Cliff College students' mission at my parents' church - Victoria Park Methodist - and at the end of the week, I knelt with six other people as I committed my life to Jesus and asked him to come and live in my heart. During a celebration at Post Green, three months later, I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit in July 1972.

God had other plans for me than drawing maps: I went to Bible college where I met David. We married and while he was in Queen's college I worked as a secretary for the Birmingham Bible Institute. I began preaching while at Cliff College and continued on trial as a local preacher in the Quinton Circuit until David entered his first circuit in Derby. With small children my preaching had to wait some years before I took it up again. In the Wimborne Circuit was encouraged to start again and I tackled all the studies and exams and was fully accredited in 1997. I have worked as a carer since 1992. My interests are singing and songwriting, embroidery and painting, prayer counselling and intercession."
