"I am 48 years old and was brought up in East London. I moved to Andover in August 1995, and decided to become a Christian in September of the same year. Previously, I had had no Christian influence or experience in my life. I was Confirmed in Wildhern Methodist Chapel in December 1996.
Over the next few years I experienced a 'call' from God to preach. I ignored this call until such times as it became obvious that 'doing nothing' was no longer an option! I obtained my 'note' to preach in December 2000, and went on trial a few months later. I have now sat all four of the four Local Preacher examinations.
In the meantime I have also applied successfully to start Foundation Training with effect from September 2003. I have been a Steward of Wildhern Methodist Chapel since 1996."
