Superintendent Minister
"I am from Sedgefield in County Durham. After training as an accountant in Local Government I trained for the Methodist ministry at Queens College, Birmingham. My circuit ministry began in Derby in 1980. After 7 years there I served in Corbridge, Northumberland for 5 years, then Wimborne in Dorset for 6 years before coming to this Circuit in 1998 as Superintendent.
In recent years I have served on the District Policy Executive for 6 years and I now hold the combined District posts of Ministries Panel Secretary, Vocations Committee Secretary and Candidates Committee Secretary. I am married with 3 sons, only one of whom is still at home. I enjoy walking, reading and Scottish dancing."
